Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using Workloop. We have tried to keep them short and in plain language.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Workloop (the website, web app, desktop and mobile apps, and API), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Workloop on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
If you do not agree, do not use Workloop.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address current.
- Keep your password, backup codes and API tokens secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.
3. Workspaces and members
Work in Workloop happens inside workspaces. The workspace owner and admins decide who can join, what role each member has, and can remove members. Content you add to a workspace (tasks, documents, files, messages and so on) is visible to other members according to the workspace's settings and sharing options.
If you invite people, including guests outside your workspace invited to a meeting by email, you confirm you have a legitimate reason to contact them.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you put into Workloop. You give us a limited licence to store, process, copy and display that content only as needed to run Workloop for you and your workspace, for example to sync it across devices, show it to members you shared it with, and send notifications.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to upload it. We do not claim ownership of it and do not sell it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Workloop to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
- upload malware or content that is abusive, harassing, hateful or sexually exploits minors;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including through workspace or meeting invites;
- try to access accounts, workspaces or data you are not authorised to access;
- probe, overload or disrupt our systems, or get around rate limits or plan limits;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer Workloop, except where the law allows it.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Plans and billing
Workloop has a free plan and paid plans, described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record and handles charging, invoices and sales tax.
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- When you upgrade or downgrade, the price difference is prorated.
- If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We may change prices with advance notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
7. Integrations and AI assistants
You can connect third-party services such as Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, GitHub and Calendly. When you do, you let Workloop exchange data with that service on your behalf. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
You can also create API tokens that let AI assistants and other tools act in your workspace. Anything a tool does with your token counts as your own activity, so only share tokens with tools you trust and revoke ones you no longer use.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Workloop available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Workloop at any time. To delete your account, contact us at [email protected].
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, or when the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.
10. Disclaimers
Workloop is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep your own copies of content that is important to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Workloop is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you have not paid us. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Workloop after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
